A UV-A LED floodlight for detecting cracks in metal. Wavelength 365 nm ±10 nm. Modular design. IP 65.
An LED floodlight for UV penetrant testing (crack testing) of metal parts. Designed to reveal surface and near-surface defects in metals, welded joints and castings. The 365 nm wavelength ensures optimal fluorescence of the penetrant. Developed and manufactured by Nanocut d.o.o.
The floodlight has a modular design. Its basic building block is a UV module of approx. 155 × 155 mm that can be repeated as many times as needed. The standard LA-UVA/4 has 4 modules; we have also built versions with 3 modules (with additional white light between them), 6 and 9 modules. Each module is covered by UV filter glass that passes UV-A and blocks the visible light of the LEDs. The lamp therefore looks less bright to the eye, while the contrast of fluorescent indications on the part is significantly better.
Designed for fluorescent penetrant testing (EN ISO 3452) and magnetic particle testing (EN ISO 9934). Viewing conditions are set by EN ISO 3059: at least 1,000 µW/cm² UV-A on the part and no more than 20 lx of visible light.
